IT Support Engineer provides some technical support in system applications, local hardware/infrastructure support, O365 administration, and system integration. Assists in providing technical input to the departments’ technology-related processes. May assist in developing and implementing installation plans. May assist in preparation and presentation of systems assurance reviews. Identifies requirements and deficiencies in hardware and software products.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DAILY TASKS"

1. Provide technical assistance and support to company engineers and equipment end users in the quick and efficient startup of newly installed equipment.

2. Assist in the writing of technical reports, bulletins, FAQs, troubleshooting and programming guidelines and procedures.

3. Assists in developing solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology

4. Travel onsite to customer locations and assist senior engineers

5. Supports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Some College or a College degree and/or a 1 years of technical support experience

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on the ability to communicate technical information to internal customers

3. Strong organizational skills, with the willingness to take thorough notes, follow procedures, and create documentation on new processes when necessary

4. Comfort and familiarity at a user level with the Windows OS (familiarity with Server OS is a plus)

5. Access to a vehicle and ability to travel to various locations in the greater DFW area as needed for on-site customer visits

Must be able to carry out a variety of activities which require a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Occasionally requires ability to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
