JOB TITLE: Maintenance Tech III HOURLY SALARY: $25.14 per hour

SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

• MUST have a valid Texas driver license with clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• MUST be able to work occasional overtime/be on-call nights and weekends
• Must have own hand tools
• Five years general building maintenance or construction experience a plus
• Physically able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to physically work indoors and outdoors
• Integrity, accuracy, attention to detail and reliability is a plus

Primary Job Duties

• Under light supervision, responsible for performing various duties dealing with building maintenance and construction.
• Regular contact with public
• Responsible for semi-skilled performance
• General cleaning interior and exterior of buildings
• This position will be predominately plumbing
• Any other duties assigned

After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery
County.
