Teach fundamental music concepts, including rhythm, melody, harmony, form, and musical notation, through a variety of instructional strategies and activities.5. Facilitate opportunities for students to actively participate in music-making, including singing, playing instruments, and composing/arranging music.7. Organize and direct school-wide music performances, concerts, and other events to showcase student talents and achievements.8. Assess student progress and growth in music proficiency using a variety of assessment methods, including performance-based assessments, observations, and student reflections.10. Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and resources in music education through professional development opportunities and ongoing professional learning communities.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.2. Valid teaching license3. Previous experience teaching music to elementary school students, preferably in a similar setting.4.
