Description: This position consists of the general management and overview of the logistics operations of a catering and hospitality management company. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable directing a small team of employees (5-8) to effectuate general operations, fleet management, equipment management, and some facilities management and will have some mechanical/technical aptitude.
A Day in the Life: An ordinary day in the Logistics Manager position may involve ensuring that equipment and inventory is packed/loaded for upcoming events, fleet inspection and maintenance, attending sales and kitchen planning meetings to discuss equipment and inventory needs and planning and executing larger off-site event logistics. Some days will be mostly office work and other days will be mostly field work, movement, and setup/break-down.
