Total Preventative Maintenance ( TPM ). TPM is the application of preventive maintenance strategies in an organized and standardized method.

Qualified candidates should possess good communication skills, follow detailed instructions, complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, present leadership qualities on the plant floor, as well as an overall knowledge of the area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely complete all job tasks assigned by supervision.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly check sheets on production equipment.
• Read & record various operating parameters (temperature, pressure, fluid level...)
• Check & refill lubricant levels as needed.
• Complete scheduled cleaning & lubrication of machines.
• Measure & adjust concentration levels in machining centers & part washers.
• Inspect & identify potential electrical & mechanical problems before downtime occurs.
• Report potential downtime concerns to appropriate departments by filling out work orders.
• Support in Hot Zone & countermeasure meetings.

Skills and Requirements

• Self-starting "Hands on".
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Working knowledge in the use of hand tools.
• Work with minimum supervision after initial training.
• Weekend overtime when needed.
• Holiday / Shutdown overtime when needed.
• Basic tasks in Word, Excel & Outlook.

Education and / or Experience

• Read, Understand, and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Identify and Utilize Appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
