This position is responsible for becoming familiar with all contract documents, budgets, construction drawings and specifications and schedules to thoroughly understand the scope of work to be accomplished. The Project Construction Manager must ensure that all materials as well as subcontractors are available at the proper times. The daily work activities must be planned and communicated to subordinate level Superintendents, Supervisors and subcontractors to ensure construction schedules are met. Provides the required detail to, and maintains the Contract Schedule such that Milestones are met. Periodic inspections of the work being accomplished are required to ascertain work is being accomplished according to the contract and to limit scope creep and to control costs. This position creates daily progress reports and assists other departments in the preparation of reports concerning the status of fieldwork by entering information on ProMIS. Responsible for completing field orders and AVO's to document changes in the scope of work.
This position is a travelling position, and will primarily be based at specific project sites.
* Requires a 4-year degree in Engineering Construction Management and at least 5 years experience
* OR 10 years' experience as a General Foreman or Foreman in a specific trade.
* Experience across Industrial projects is highly preferred.
