Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition

Position Summary:

Reporting into the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition specialist is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process to ensure the business attracts, hires, and retains a talented workforce. This role will add value to our talent acquisition strategy and processes, champion and incorporate our DEI initiatives into recruitment efforts, and successfully collaborate with hiring managers and the greater HR team to drive results that are aligned with key talent priorities and initiatives of the company. The Talent Acquisition specialist will work across the Talent Acquisition team as a subject matter expert to keep a pulse on the local employment markets to inform on employment trends, best practices, and branding opportunities to help market the organization as an Employer of Choice in the hospitality industry. This role will serve as coach/mentor to the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, as well as Hiring Managers, to implement effective sourcing and interviewing strategies, in addition to supporting key systems and reporting capabilities.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Partner across hiring managers, HRBPs, and the Talent Acquisition team to operationalize and execute recruitment and hiring strategies designed to attract and engage quality hires within the hospitality industry.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including tracking of job openings, job postings, candidate management, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
  • Create and conduct thorough interview guides to assess candidate qualifications across a wide range of positions, including Corporate (exempt, professional), Field (non-exempt, high volume hourly), and Leadership openings.
  • Champion recruiting best practices, introduce and implement initiatives to drive recruiting efficiencies, brand and candidate experience, and quality hires from a systems and process standpoint.
  • In partnership with L&D and Director of TA, coach Hiring Managers through the recruitment process, providing training and guidance on recruitment or systems related questions and best practices.
  • Partner with the Director of TA to ensure consistency in how hiring managers engage with candidates through the recruiting lifecycle; building systems and processes to measure Candidate Experience and retention data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Act as a technical resource for the team within the ATS and other HR systems and processes, including the creation of SOPs, FAQs, and other resources.
  • Support and participate in high-volume hiring events for New Venue Openings, in addition to the timely filling of business critical leadership roles within the field.
  • Coordinates and participates in various outreach/sourcing activities; including but not limited to attending career fairs, webinars, speaking engagements, informational sessions, recruitment tables, conducting on-site interviews, and other local networking events.
  • Analyze and report on key metrics that show results, trends, and opportunities in key talent markets.
  • Partner with Director of TA to manage vendor and agency relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate recruiting experience, including an emphasis on high-volume, non-exempt positions.
  • Experience within the hospitality, retail, and/or restaurant industry highly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled with recruiting tools and systems, including ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, etc., with an aptitude for creating/implementing processes and policies within.
  • Ability to build strong, productive relationships with ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Passionate about DE&I, skilled in interview techniques and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Experience using data and reporting to consult with hiring managers to make data-based decisions on processes and approaches.
  • Able to thrive in a high-growth environment with constant competing and changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge and experience with creative sourcing techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to travel frequently to support business needs.

Physical Requirements:

Physical activities on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; frequent use of telephone/video conferencing and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
