Beyond Limits Behavioral Services is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Chicago, IL
Beyond Limits Behavioral Services is an IN HOME AUTISM THERAPY PROVIDER based in Chicago. We are dedicated to providing compassionate therapy services for individuals with autism and related disorders in the Chicagoland area. We are professional, collaborative and supportive with a focus on promoting skill acquisition, independence, and quality of life for each client.
We are currently hiring for TWO (2) BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANS.
Job Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate behaviors
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
- Support in the creation of client materials
We are looking to hire candidates who for our team who meet of the following:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification OR
- Bachelors Degree with 6-12 months of experience OR
- Teachers Assistants/Aides, Daycares, Mental Health Technicians, Nannies, Babysitters or individuals who would like to make an positive impact on the lives of young children.
and MEET some of the following:
- RELIABLE CAR (travel to client homes or other designated locations)
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities
- Must enjoy interacting and playing with kids and generally be a fun person
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans effectively, receive and apply constructive feedback
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to pass a background check
