American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional – Nurse Practitioner to join our corrections medical team in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are looking for Nurse Practitioners that are certified and licensed without a written or electronic practice agreement with a patient care team physician. This is a medium security men's state prison with a maximum capacity of 1,192 inmates.
NP – Corrections Job Details:
Pay Rate: $2,750 to $3,070 per week
Schedule: Flexible
Available Shift: Days, 5 shifts per week
Start Date: Two weeks from offer
Located In: Chesapeake, Virginia
Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Nurse Practitioner license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.
As a Correctional Nurse Practitioner you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
