Inside Sales Activities:

Position Overview: As inside sales in the manufacturing sector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between sales and cross functional teams. You'll be responsible for actively engaging in inside sales activities, account management, working with internal teams as well as analyzing sales data, optimizing processes, providing specific sales strategic insights. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inside sales activities such as calling, qualification, and product presentations to generate new and add-on business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to follow up on leads, identify solutions and engage with customers and prospects.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products, pricing, and competitive landscape to effectively position offerings to customers.

Account Management:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing and new accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as a liaison between Hatch Stamping’s internal teams and customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
  • Assist in developing strategies to retain existing customers and acquire new ones.

Sales Data Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize CRM tools and other data sources to generate reports and insights for sales performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather feedback and incorporate it into data analysis for better decision-making.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and propose solutions to streamline operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Use of CRM to track activity and provide appropriate reporting and insights.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics and insights to Sales leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, inside sales, and account management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ERP software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
