Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Telebelt Operator to join our team. This position is based out of Chattanooga, TN, but requires extensive travel to various job sites across all locations. The Telebelt Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Telebelt conveyor system, ensuring the safe and efficient placement of concrete and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Telebelt Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate the Telebelt conveyor system to place concrete and other materials as required by the project specifications.
• Set-Up and Calibration: Set up and calibrate the telebelt machine at job sites, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with project requirements.
• Material Handling: Monitor the flow of materials through the telebelt system, adjusting settings as needed to maintain a consistent and accurate distribution.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the Telebelt equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Report any issues or necessary repairs to the maintenance team promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct safety checks and maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Travel: Travel extensively to various job sites, both within and outside the local area. Be prepared for overnight stays.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and site personnel. Address any concerns or issues that may arise during the operation and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including pump operators, drivers, and project managers, to coordinate job site activities and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Telebelt or similar equipment in the concrete pumping industry.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, CDL required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods. Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays and out-of-state trips as needed.

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
