Responsibilities
- Loading and logging materials onto the truck, noting returned materials
- Installing new gas or wood burning fireplaces
- Measuring and installing mantles and granite base as required
- Repairing and maintaining existing fireplaces
- Observing job site safety rules and ensuring knowledge of MSDS packets location in the vehicle
- Maintaining tools and truck cleanliness
- Following OSHA and company safety procedures
- Assisting customers and completing job order paperwork
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Experience in finish carpentry or residential construction is beneficial but not mandatory
- National Fireplace Institute Certification will be provided upon gaining sufficient experience
- Capable of working at heights up to 20 feet
- Regularly handling garage doors weighing up to 100 lbs
- Able to lift, push, kneel, crouch, and reach while managing installation tools
- Required to sit, stand, walk, and use depth perception regularly
