Job Description
- Inbound calls, typically from our patients. Callers could also be other medical practices, insurance carriers, pharmacies, requests for records, etc. Rep is expected to gather the patient’s question/ concerns and send to the appropriate internal department. Schedule/ change/ cancel patient appointments. Answer some basic caller questions, but not expected to give clinical advice. Typically answers about 50 calls/ day. Other tasks assigned when phone calls are at a low volume.
- Must have at least 1 yr of call center/ customer service experience. Must be able to resolve issues and de-escalate concerns with empathy and by utilizing resources. Would prefer work history in a medical setting and experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Excellent attendance/ reliability/ follow-through/ efficiency and must display tact and friendly demeanor with all callers.
