Building Maintenance Assistant

$23/ hour

Part-Time: 9AM-5:30PM

3 Days/will vary to include weekends

The Maintenance Assistant will be primarily responsible for general maintenance work order requests and the make-ready process of apartments including patching drywall & painting. This position is hands-on and highly engage with the residents who live at Belmont Village.

Prior hands-on maintenance experience in the areas of general maintenance, basic plumbing, painting, & drywall repair are required. Prior maintenance experience in senior living, assisted living or hotels is preferred.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year commercial facility maintenance experience
• Customer service oriented approach while interacting with residents and guests
• 1 -2 yrs hotel, hospital, multi-family housing or assisted living community maintenance experience is preferred

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Providing assistance and support to the Building Engineer in all areas of maintenance for the building and grounds.
• Performing routine building maintenance as directed (painting, floor care, pressure washing, basic plumbing repairs, etc.)
• Completing maintenance tasks and work orders in resident apartments
• Assisting with in-house resident moves

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
