Independence Health System, Inc. is Hiring a REGISTERED NURSE RN- OPERATING ROOM Near Butler, PA

Job Summary:
Responsible for Delivering peri-operative care by using the nursing process to perform rapid assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care to the surgical patient. The Registered Nurse's responsibilities include but are not limited to utilization of the nursing process in the provision of care, excellent customer service skills and communication skills, flexibility, quality improvement activities and professional growth. The Registered Nurse will support the patients and families physical and emotional health.
Education
⚬ Minimum:
Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program
⚬ Preferred:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Current PA RN license, Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 clearances
Experience
Minimum:
Clinical rotation through educational program.
Preferred:
One year Operating Room experience or open heart experience. Prior scrub experience, case set up, and ability to assist physician, while maintaining aseptic technique.
