Comunilife Inc.is looking for Residential Aides for its congregate program in the Bronx, Safe Haven I.The Residential Aides (RA)are responsible for monitoring clients and ensuring the safety within the facility. The Residential Aide will be the primary connection between the operations staff and the clients. The residential aide will spend a large amount of time with the residents. They will spend this time helping clients who need more hands-on assistance. They will also provide insight to the current atmosphere in the facility and what are the current client complaints or recommendations. The positions offers a generous benefit package including health insurance, dental, vision, dependent care, paid time off, 401(k), tuition assistance program and more.
Shift: Tues-Sat 12PM-8AM
Essential Duties:
Monitor site conditions to ensure safety for all residents, staff, and guest according to policies and procedures
Maintain daily sign in/sign out log for all residents/staff/and guests
Conduct full facility rounds throughout shift Assist with monthly fire drills
Complete intakes for new clients to the program
Observe and report on client activities and behaviors
Serve precooked meals to clients
Light cleaning (wiping tables, chairs, sweeping)
Assist with organizing program items (clothing donations, toiletries, kitchen supplies)
Assist clients with ADLs as needed
Monitor and coordinate onsite laundry for clients
Accept, Coordinate and log all food deliveries
Crisis intervention as needed Coordinate and communicate with onsite operations and clinical teams as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirement(s)
High School diploma or GED Ability to speak, read, and write the English Language
