Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Postpartum unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal health and postpartum care, providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during their stay in our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns, including assessments, monitoring, medication administration, and education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Educate and support mothers in breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and protocols related to postpartum care and nursing practice.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY.
• Minimum of 2 experience in postpartum care or maternal health preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $73.00 - $78.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
