The Arc Ocean County Chapter is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Brick, NJ
Basic Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans
- Collect and analyze data regarding behaviors and established plans
- Work directly, on site with individuals receiving services in our Programs (eg. Group Home setting, Day Program setting)
- Teach, coach, promote and reinforce behavior plans
- Implement strategies to reduce challenging behaviors
- Document and maintain organized records of participant progress. Prepare notes, reports and other data collection tools under the supervision of the BCBA
- Collaborate with all stakeholders including direct care staff and supervisors as well as parents, guardians and other support team members
- Maintain certification and stay up to date with the latest research, developments and trends to best serve the individuals receiving services
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants and staff during all sessions
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification: Must hold a valid RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities
- Valid NJ Driver's license with no more than 5 points
- The ability to meet the requirements of state and federal background check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
