Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform timely incoming inspection and create inspection plans for purchased finished goods received at the warehouse.
- Create nonconforming records for failed inspections.
- Develop and update inspection plans and work instructions.
- Champion lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily management board data and may lead meetings.
- Escalate issues to direct manager and generate departmental metrics.
- Work under limited supervision and act as a resource for colleagues.
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues related to your responsibility area.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to recognize and solve problems.
- Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Commitment to quality and delivering results.
- Drive operational excellence and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in using coordinate measuring machines and other inspection tools.
- Knowledge of Test Method Validations (TMV) and experience with measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with SAP (MRP/ERP) and ability to read and understand drawing requirements.
- 2 years of experience in the medical device industry.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Basic understanding of CAPA, global medical device regulations, and standards such as 21 CFR Parts 803, 806, and 820, ISO13485, and EU MDR.
