We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Residential Solar Installers / Technicians. With a commitment to sustainability and renewable energy, Solar Energy Partners is dedicated to providing clean and cost-effective solar solutions to homeowners, while offering the highest quality solutions & being committed to delivering a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications.
Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems.
Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs.
Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.
Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and principles.
Basic understanding of solar systems including installation techniques and methods of power transmission (e.g., conduit).
Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Travel between 25% and 50%
