City National Bank is Hiring a Credit Analyst II Near Beverly Hills, CA
- Prepares credit analysis for new and existing commercial loans and provides the necessary documentation and financial facts for Credit Officers to analyze, evaluate, and determine appropriate credit structure and terms for potential and existing borrowers.
- Provides analytical functions relating to due diligence, document processing, and financial statements analyses related to transactions and credit approval. Prepares summary documenting factual analysis and supporting information for credit decision recommendations.
- Monitors for receipt, and analyzes and evaluates documents surrounding credits. This may include financial statements for the company, and/or guarantors, cash flow, collateral, covenants, agings, credit reports, etc. to identify strengths and weaknesses as pertaining to a borrowers financial position.
- Under limited supervision, performs credit activities for less complex to moderately complex commercial requests.
- May contact borrowers directly for additional information and details related to loan request.
- May make client calls to obtain all necessary information and clarification on financial analysis materials and resources.
- Works with attorneys and other financial or legal resources to obtain the correct, accurate documents to fully protect the banks interests in the credit relationship. existing credit arrangements.
- Colleagues at this level have a good understanding of the banks credit policies and a thorough knowledge of appropriate banking laws and regulations normally acquired through 3 or more years directly related experience.
Must-Have*
- H.S. Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of credit analysis or financial analysis experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Working knowledge of credit, accounting, credit policy and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills to present clear and precise recommendations based upon analysis for action on loans and loan treatments.
