We are a fast-paced medical office looking for an Audiology Assistant to join our audiologists in providing service to our patients by being frontline support for our hearing aid patients and their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with suppliers to monitor hearing aid orders and repairs.
- Manage inventory for office and clinical supplies.
- Facilitate form processing for purchases, returns, and repairs.
- Conduct basic hearing aid maintenance and troubleshooting under an Audiologist's guidance.
- Provide cleaning services for hearing aids and related devices.
- Verify hearing aid insurance coverage for patients.
- Support reception duties, including call handling and appointment scheduling.
- Contribute to the daily opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Able to work in a team
- Detail Oriented
- People Skills
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Record systems.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prompt in responding to emails and voicemails.
Education & Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate or bachelor's degree is advantageous.
- Prior experience in Audiology, Hearing Science, or Speech-Language Pathology is beneficial.
- Previous work in a medical office setting is desirable.
