LanceSoft Inc is Hiring an Underwriter Near Austin, TX
- This is a Senior Property/ Casualty Commercial Underwriter. Ideally, they will have public entity experience.
- Job location: Hybrid – 1 – 2 days in office
- Mandatory: min 6-10 yrs Commercial Insurance Underwriting Experience – public entity preferred but not required. TX P&C license required or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
- To provide third-party underwriting services and be responsible for performing captive underwriting comprised of property/casualty including workers’ compensation lines of business with account premiums.
- Bachelor's degree in insurance or finance from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Property Casualty License a plus. Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU),
- Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI), Certificate in Captive Insurance (CCI) and/or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) courses and/or designations preferred.
- Six (6) years of commercial insurance experience in the underwriting areas with an emphasis on program underwriting or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Supervisory experience a plus.
