Must Haves
3 years corporate experience in setting up and operating AV equipment.
Prior experience hosting live events, both onsite & offsite, & has collaborated w/external vendors
Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and corporate events.
- Work with Executives and their assistants on finding AV solutions for high level meetings and events.
- Install AV systems and ensure their functionality and proper operation.
- Troubleshoot AV issues promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime.
- Provide documentation and staff training on the usage of AV equipment and software platforms, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Coordinate with event planners to ensure all AV requirements are met.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on AV equipment and perform necessary updates or repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AV technology and suggest upgrades and improvements when necessary.
- Knowledge of the operation of our current Zoom hardware, including Neat Bars and Mac OS.
Requirements:
- Proven corporate experience in setting up and operating AV equipment.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in hosting live events, both onsite and offsite, and will have collaborated with external AV service providers. A key part of the role involves acting as a liaison between IT and AV providers.
- Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly to accommodate business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- A relevant certification or diploma in a related field is a plus.
