Augusta Staffing Associates is Hiring a Field Surveyor Near Augusta, GA
A local engineering company is hiring a Field Surveyor to assist with construction surveys for public, private, and government clients! Paying $18.00-$20.00/hour!! You will work between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday! Must have previous experience outside along with technical skills using GPS and mapping software. You will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations, and working with staff on various projects. Job duties will include:
- Perform mathematical computations using algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to compile raw survey data
- Responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performs calculations, and working with staff on various projects.
- Read construction plans and surveys to make calculations using architectural/engineering scales
- Conduct job site surveys
- Marking points of measurement with elevation, station number, wooden marker, and/or property iron
- Other duties given by your supervisor
- Use GPS tools and mapping software to record coordinates and findings.
