Position Summary:

This position will analyze financial information and create management reporting to highlight opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate has financial analysis and project management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Complete month end closing journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Areas of focus are inventory, cost of goods sold, freight, expenses, and fixed assets.
• Develop detailed product costs for existing and new products.
• Identify cost-saving measures and interpret financial data to identify trends or potential problems
• Perform variance analysis.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting on production and logistics KPI’s.
• File regulatory reports.
• Participate in other projects as assigned.

 Qualifications and requirements:

• Business or Finance degree required with 2-4 years related work experience.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to work independently; self-motivated.
• Demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within a changing work environment.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and interact at all levels of the organization.
• Excel skills at Intermediate/Advanced level, including use of pivot tables and lookups.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Systems, including Office and Windows and previous experience with ERP systems (ex. Microsoft NAV, Oracle, SAP).
• Experience with inventory accounting and product costing
• Hybrid role with in-office required 3 days per week.
• Domestic travel less than 10%.
