DUTIES
The Programmer Analyst will responsible for the development, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Office of Budget Enterprise Budget Support System (PEBSS) Information System. The PEBSS Information System is made up of modules/applications such as BERT (Budget Execution and Reporting Tool), RFMS (Revolving Fund Management System), and Manpower (FTE tracking), developed with separate but related functionality and use cases. BERT was developed for the purpose of displaying financial information from multiple data sources (i.e., excel, access) in a format geared towards communities without an accounting background (e.g., management, budget and program analysts), and is the foundation of the PEBBS Information System. PEBSS modules are intranet-delivered applications that enable users to easily: determine the execution status of programs, accounts, and personnel on a near real-time basis access data at various levels within the accounting structure (e.g., appropriation, fund, fund center, functional area, and funded program/WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)) download the information to Microsoft Excel for local use and analysis.
