The schedule for this position is part-time, with the potential to become full-time as our business grows! You may also be required to assist with on-call emergencies and travel up to 60% of the time for various staff and client service needs, as well as for training and conferences.

As our Director of Nursing - RN, you'll be responsible for the overall direction of home care services, ensuring the quality and adequacy of care provided to our clients. You'll oversee the implementation of care plans, supervise caregiving staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your days will be filled with meaningful interactions with clients and families, as you provide support, guidance, and compassion to those in need. Here's what you need to truly excel as our Director of Nursing - RN:

• Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience with at least half of that time working in home health or a related healthcare organization
• Experience directly supervising employees
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA
• Ability to supervise and manage a team
• Assess competency of clinical staff and ensures staff is assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a client's care
• Oversees the maintenance of client clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organizational activities
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull (varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client)
• Flexibility to travel daily, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Highly analytical with strong critical thinking abilities

Having a bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred but not required! Policy development experience and case management skills are also a plus!
