Position Overview

NCF is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the building of our new back-office, donor advised fund (DAF) application that powers our philanthropic mission. This is a tremendously impactful role that will play a huge part in our engineering efforts to redesign and build out our E2E software and data platform that will run all NCF's ministries for the next 10 years. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help craft the process and technology roadmap that will enable NCF to grow and scale in accomplishing its mission of seeing lives changed by mobilizing resources across literally thousands of Christian ministries through inspiring biblical generosity. In this role you will effectively deliver business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistently applying program management best practices. Good facilitation skills and being a motivator are a must along with working across teams and departments to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and results.

Position is local-hybrid based out of NCF's office in Alpharetta, GA.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Essential Responsibilities
a. Lead the design, development, testing and release of new features and architecture for the back-office application that supports our end-to-end donor advised fund (DAF) processes, as well as how this application interacts with our CRM, Donor Portal and ERP systems
b. Function as the product owner for our back-office DAF application, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
c. Partner and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to gather and determine user requirements
d. Collaborate with stakeholders to produce program roadmaps, project scope, objectives and success criteria, project plans and other project documentation required to plan, organize, and control project outcomes
e. Drive results across cross-functional teams of stakeholders, such as senior leaders, operational, field and development teams, governance committees, and vendors
f. Prepare and present executive level presentations and communications, including reporting on program and project milestones, status, risks, and decisions
g. Understand the inter-dependencies of the business and technology platforms, features, delivery plans and the impact of changes
h. Support the program teams in the early identification and solving of issues and mitigating risks and dependencies with effective strategies and collaboration

2. Personal, Spiritual, and Professional Development
a. Demonstrates a commitment to personal, spiritual and professional maturity through regular prayer, study of Scripture and other Christian learning mechanisms
b. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars, workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies

3. Building Christian Community Through Demonstrating Biblical Principles
a. Actively integrates biblical principles in day-to-day behavior, exhibiting unremitting integrity and strong moral character
b. Models daily faithfulness to God and love and service to others
c. Prays regularly for employees, donors, and charities involved with NCF
d. Attends weekly NCF Devotions and other NCF community building events

a. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field
b. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is ok

3. Experience
a. 8 year's experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development - or equivalent experience.
b. 6 year's experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
c. Experience in Agile development methodology, with certification preferred
d. Experience with CRM, ERP, data management and/or financial services systems
e. Strong BI/SQL skills preferred
f. Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)

4. Competencies
a. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines
b. Flexibility to adapt/adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities and tight deadlines
c. Strong communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills

h. Proven team player who can effectively work and interface with all levels of the organization
