This position is 100% remote. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $33 to $36 per hour.
Job Description
- Record bank activities in the general ledger and perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, including accounts receivable, prepaids, accruals, and other liability accounts.
- Review, reconcile, and record bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll activities.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and maintain unclaimed property escheatment reports.
- Prepare necessary filings for year-end business property taxes.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end audits.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls and established company policies.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP accounting software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- 3 years of general accounting and finance experience required.
