SummaryOur client, a dynamic manufacturing and engineering company specializing in metal, plastic and rubber fastening systems, is looking to add an experienced and professional Account Manager.The Account Manager must have a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Equivalent.Account Manager Requirements
- Project Management
- Ability to read 2D/3D drawings
- Ability to use and understand CAS equipment
- Software/SolidWorks/Adobe Graphics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of QS/TS principal
- Ability to travel to customer and supplier site
- Manage projects / customer from supporting design development to production launch internally and externally
- Coordinating efforts between manufacturing and end user customer (OEM or Large Tier)
- Analyze engineering sketched, drawings, specifications, and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement
- Must have excellent systematic organizational skills to manage projects
- Provide design efforts from inception through to production for new and existing product design
- Must have good knowledge concerning material, process, tolling, product, and cost
- Must also be able to prepare marketing materials and update design materials
