RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Zeeland, MI that is seeking an EDI Analyst. This is a contract to hire opportunity, local clients with the ability to work a hybrid schedule are preferred.
Summary:
The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of electronic data interchange systems and processes within an organization. This role involves analyzing business requirements, mapping data, and ensuring seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners. The EDI Analyst will work closely with IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize EDI workflows, and support data integration projects.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and deploy EDI transactions and workflows
* Analyze business requirements and map data for EDI integrations
* Maintain EDI systems and resolve any issues related to data transmission
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Monitor EDI transactions, trading partners, and errors; analyze and resolve issues promptly
* Experience with onboarding new customers to EDI systems
* Provide technical support and training to users on EDI processes
* Document EDI processes, configurations, and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
* Proven experience as an EDI Analyst or in a similar role
* Must be familiar with EDI technical concepts (ANSI X12)
* Proficiency in EDI standards and protocols (e.g., FTP, AS2)
* Experience with EDI trading partner platforms such as Sterling, SBS Commerce, and others
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Oracle Fusion knowledge would be helpful but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
