Division/Program OverviewThe Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) operates 24/7 in an unlocked setting, offering stays of up to 23 hours. It provides rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention for all age groups—children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—needing immediate access to crisis services. The center delivers crucial support for immediate crisis intervention and stabilization. Individuals admitted to the crisis stabilization unit receive support and services to ensure a safe transition to the next level of care or back into the community.

- Valid California Driver’s License
- Recent grads are welcome
- Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
- Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field
- Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate
- Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
- First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
