Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining patients' health information in a secure and confidential manner.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and manage medical records in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information
- Retrieve patient records for healthcare providers as needed
- Input data into electronic health records systems
- Maintain and update files both manually and electronically
- Process release of information requests in compliance with regulations
- Assist with coding and billing tasks as required

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of medical terminology, records management, and medical office procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Health Information Technology is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
