Currently seeking Structural Steel Fitters in the Youngstown, OH area. Applicants should be able to pass a welding and fitting test. Applicants should have 3-5 years minimum of verifiable experience Fitting structural steel & weldments. This is a minimum requirement for this position and you will not be considered without this level of experience.

Responsibilities of the Structural Fitter:

Essential skills and qualifications:

• Accurately read and interpret prints
• Ability to layout and plan sequence of project
• Layout steel according to prints
• Ability top read different types of prints
• Weld and tack structural steel (MIG / Stick Welding)
• Uses sound judgment when completing projects
• Complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with metal fab equipment such as band saws, iron workers, drills
• Manual dexterity as required
• Must have good math skills
• Comply with company policies and department safety rules and practices

Requirements of the Structural Fitter:

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• OSHA 10 is a plus but not a requirement
• Welding certifications are a plus but not a requirement
• Ability to pass a fitting test
