Broadway Recovery Services is Hiring a Property Maintenance Technician Near Youngstown, OH

About us

Broadway Recovery Services (BRS), is a nonprofit organization that aims to provide a safe, structured and sober environment that enables and encourages individuals in recovery, to continue their abstinence from drugs and alcohol, participate in treatment programs, and reconnect with their families.

Our objective is to assist and improve the lives of those suffering from alcohol and drug addiction by providing board funded recovery housing, promoting healthy lifestyles, providing opportunity for meaningful change, providing guidance, instilling positive values, to assist residents in furthering their education, and to find gainful employment.

Role: We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our team as a Property Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple residential properties and offices, performing repairs and installations as well as recommending subcontractors for serious infrastructural projects. You must be able to address a host of common property issues, such as electrical, plumbing, heating, etc. Our ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in property management and/or maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies as they arise.

Duties and Functions:

· Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple residential properties and offices.

· Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systems

· Diagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, water systems, etc

· Locate competitive subcontractors for major projects

· Ensure that all properties are in compliance with Ohio Recovery Housing standards

· Be on-call to respond to emergency issues as needed

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED certificate

· Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems

· Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

· Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • On call
