Employment Development Department is Hiring an OFFICE ASSISTANT (GENERAL) Near Yolo, CA

The Employment Development Department (EDD), Document Management Division is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual with excellent customer service and attention to detail skills who is innovative and interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Under the direction of the Office Services Supervisor II, the incumbent performs a variety of support functions for the Mail Operations & Distribution Section(MODS) under the Office of Documents, Publications, and Distribution (ODPD).

The incumbent is expected to practice high quality customer service, and become familiar with the Section functions, processes, and Department mail policies to the EDD's customers.

Working Conditions

Visa Sponsorship

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.
The incumbent's main headquarters is 3704 Parkway Place, West Sacramento, CA. Group business hours are 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday. Travel may be required to other Document Management Division offices, as well as the Sacramento Central Office.

Statement of Qualifications Requirement

Background Investigation Requirement

The position(s) may require an applicant to pass a background investigation. However, applicants will not be asked to provide information about a conviction history unless they receive a conditional offer of employment.
