The Judge Group is Hiring an Accountant (1046684) Near Yakima, WA

Location: Yakima, WA
Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $75,000.00 USD Annually
DescriptionJudge Direct Placement is seeking an Accountant in Yakima, WA area! The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and assist leaders in cost initiatives and develops KPI’s. The position will report directly to the Controller & be involved in all department activities.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee regular inventory cycle counts
  • Test and identify opportunities for cost savings and track monthly savings
  • Track monthly costs and production activity and provide insight
  • Perform month end close responsibilities
  • Complete account reconciliations for general ledger accounts
  • Reconcile inventory locations and prepare related schedules
  • Calculate and analyze variances which includes labor and overhead
  • Analyze year over year production cost & variance changes
  • Analyze volume vs price changes
  • Report inventory by product line and calculate inventory KPI’s
  • Work with the team to develop financial models for new products and estimate per unit for new products
  • Liaison between finance department and operations
  • Set up and maintain internal documents
  • Maintain cost accounting systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or related field preferred
  • 3 years Cost Accounting experience
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills
