Del Outdoor Advertising, Inc. is Hiring a Production Manager Near Yuma, AZ

Description

The Production Manager is responsible for all install production staff of Del Outdoor and Sign Pro. Responsible for billboard structure installs and removals. Oversees and installs billboard advertising and maintains signs and structures. Responsible for surveying signs, measuring, reading/understanding plans for on-premise and off-premise sign plans. Oversees maintenance, repair and installation of all Sign Pro installs. 

Requirements

Essential Functions:

1. Hires, fires, evaluates, commends, trains, disciplines and supervises Del Outdoor staff with input from General Manager.

2. Install, removes, and rotates billboard advertising at various locations.

3. Spot checks billboards for upkeep and checks lights on lighted billboards bi-monthly. 

4. Must be able to install finished signs and formed letters to buildings, walls etc. with appropriate techniques and methodology and connect to electrical. 

5. Install signage on various substrates and vehicles.

6. Ensures production area is maintained and keeps layout area neat, safe and organized.

7. Works with vendors to order supplies and assists with month-end inventory. 

8. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime. 

9. Conducts quarterly safety meetings with all production staff. Maintains safety logs on crane, boom and all other safety equipment. Keeps SDS books up-to-date.

10. As needed, assist with signage including weeding, masking, and assembly of signs, along with installation of vinyl onto vehicles, doors, glass and other onsite applications.

11. Monitors employees’ conduct and professionalism toward both customers and co-workers.

12. Provides necessary reports to management as required. 

13. Provides and drives vehicle, has valid driver’s license and necessary amount of auto insurance.

14. Must be able to work in outside temperatures exceeding 100 degrees.

15. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly.

16. Must be able to climb ladders and work comfortably at outdoor heights exceeding 100 ft. above ground.

17. Possess a commercial driving license (CDL).

18. Must be certified and able to operate the crane, scissor lifts/aerial platform or similar equipment safely.

19. Has contact with customers in person in a courteous and professional manner.

20. Exceed customer expectations. A customer is anyone who contributes directly or indirectly to the revenues of the organization. 

Other Responsibilities:

1. Participates in company Hazard Communication program and follows all safety regulations. 

2. Cross trains in other jobs for back-up purposes as assigned.

3. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any customer service related duties to the desired results as needed.

4. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Education, Experience and Skills Required: 

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum three years’ experience in construction.

3. Must be good at working with hands, possesses good math skills, have construction and/or painting experience and be familiar with power tools (i.e. saws and drills) and their safe usage.

4. Able to work independently. Be self-motivated, follow instructions, work quickly and handle stress of high production demands.
