A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CARE MANAGER

The position requires the development of knowledge and skills in the areas of community support, discharge planning, substance use issues, and mental health issues. The position also requires the ability to respond appropriately to crisis or emergency situations, including at least basic training in crisis intervention and handling a difficult client.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CARE MANAGER

  • Bachelor's Degree and LSW required
  • Master's Degree preferred
