URGENTLY HIRING

Basic Duties:

• Greet people when they walk in
• Answer basic questions about the location of items throughout the store
• Check people out at the counter
• Open and close the register
• Present yourself with professionalism and care

(Additionally, it is expected that the cashier stays busy at all times, this includes cleaning the storefront, organizing items, and watching over the front entrance of the store.)

Additional Job Requirements

• Detail Oriented and able to work at a Fast Pace
• Adhering to company procedures
• Showing up 10 minutes before your shift begins
• Must be willing to Walk, Stand, and Kneel for 8-10 Hours
• Maintain proper focus when cashing customers out
• Execute cash handling to the highest standard
• Greeting every customer who walks into the store
• Maintain correct cash on hand
• Balances cash drawer and total currency sales each shift.
• Opening and closing the drawer
• Attends store meetings and training sessions as required
• Trains new cashiers on approved company procedures
• Learn and manage the ‘house accounts’
• Watching the front of the store for shoplifting
• Working with the floor members on pricing and price-checking items
• Answering the phone, and possibly managing multiple lines at once
• Cleaning and Organizing the store during downtime
• Maintains adequate stock of the cash register area, and notifies the Manager when additional supplies are needed.
• Be willing to work Full-time Hours with the possibility of Weekends
