Equipment Delivery Driver - Full-time Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm

SUMMARY FOR POSITION:

Responsible for delivering on average, 2 customer imaging equipment orders per day. Often the Distribution Representative is the 2nd Stratix employee that customers interact with so professionalism is important. Must be responsive to both internal and external customer needs in a timely manner and meet deadlines for various delivery tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Deliver on average 2 customer imaging equipment orders per day
• Perform inspection of truck before driving
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with warehouse and service technician support teams
• Deliver and pick up equipment at customer locations in a timely, efficient manner
• Exercise proper care when handling equipment so that the equipment and buildings are not damaged
• Understand and practice proven methods of securing, transporting and maneuvering equipment. This includes Escalera use, lift gate use and tie down straps.
• Obey all laws and exercise care caution and courtesy while driving company vehicles
• Maintain all delivery paperwork and submit it in a timely manner
• Unpack new equipment to be set up for delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma with three or more years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical school diploma / certification is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a physical in order to obtain Commercial Driver Medical Certification (Non-CDL).
• Must have a valid PA Driver’s license.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand as needed. Also regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. Requires walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the day.
• Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds, occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds, assisted.
• Also, manual dexterity sufficient to reach with hands and arms /handle items, work with fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials. Will be required to use desktop computer, repair equipment and operate motor vehicle
• Daily travel by mostly truck is required, can include several hours of driving in a day.
