Completion of clinical mental health assessments with patients that are suicidal, homicidal, acutely psychotic or
manic. Coordination of psychiatric hospitalization or outpatient mental health treatment. Providing community
resources. Emotional and bereavement support for patients and families. Care coordination with community
agencies. Documenting all assessments and interactions with patients before end of each shift. Coordination and
communicate with Emergency Department physicians and nurses.
2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Documentation in Epic (Electronic Medical Record).
Coordinating Microsoft Teams Meetings with Community Mental Health agencies.
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Clinical mental health assessment skills, crisis response and medical social work experience. 3-5 years of
experience.
4. LLMSW or LMSW in the State of Michigan
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends

After training this employee would work alone on night shift 7p-7a. The director is oncall 24/7 for support. The
schedule consists of three 12 hour shifts a week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (36 hours). No additional
requirements, however options to pick up additional shifts.
