Job Title: Registrar (Post-Secondary Education Experience)

Job Overview: The Registrar holds a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of academic processes within the institution. Responsible for maintaining accurate student records, managing enrollment procedures, coordinating academic scheduling, and providing administrative support, the Registrar plays a crucial role in facilitating academic excellence and compliance with institutional policies and external accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities:

Student Records Management:

Maintain and update comprehensive student records, encompassing personal details, academic history, grades, transcripts, and pertinent documents.

Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of student records in adherence to data protection laws and institutional protocols.

Address student inquiries concerning academic records and transcripts promptly and professionally.

Enrollment and Registration:

Oversee the enrollment and registration workflows for both new and returning students, particularly focusing on the nuances of post-secondary education.

Collaborate closely with admissions teams to validate and process student applications efficiently.

Coordinate course registration, academic advising, and class scheduling to ensure alignment with program requirements and student needs.

Academic Policies and Compliance:

Remain abreast of institutional academic policies, regulations, and guidelines, with a particular emphasis on post-secondary education dynamics.

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations pertinent to higher education.

Offer guidance to students and faculty regarding academic policies and procedural intricacies.

Course Schedule Management:

Work collaboratively with faculty and academic departments to devise and manage course schedules, including nursing courses and clinical rotations.

Oversee the course registration process, encompassing the addition, withdrawal, and adjustment of student enrollments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date course catalogs and program specifications.

Graduation Processes:

Verify students' completion of program requirements and eligibility for graduation in the context of post-secondary education.

Coordinate graduation ceremonies, oversee diploma issuance, and ensure the accurate conferral of degrees.

Student Services Support:

Provide administrative assistance to students, including processing transcript requests, verifying enrollment status, and managing graduation applications.

Furnish students with pertinent information regarding academic procedures, deadlines, and available resources.

Technology and Systems Management:

Utilize student information systems and databases proficiently to manage student records and enrollment data effectively.

Offer training and technical support to faculty and staff on the utilization of relevant technology platforms.
