We are seeking a motivated Recruiting Assistant to join our HR team to assist us through a period of rapid growth. This temporary position will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates who are passionate about our mission and dedicated to making a difference in the community. This is a great opportunity for a college student or someone looking to break into recruiting. A positive, results-oriented attitude, and eagerness to will help you succeed in this hybrid role. This 20 hour position is expected to last until August 2024.

Duties include:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and community outreach.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Assist with developing and following work flows, data collection methods, and maximizing technology and software available.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
