We have an exciting opportunity for a conscientious Project Accountant to join our team.

Woodridge, IL Full-time starting at$50,000.00

Position Overview: The Project Accountant (Construction) is responsible for providing accounting support to the construction project teams and ensuring project financial goals are met. This includes analyzing project costs, invoicing, lien waivers, certified payroll, and preparing G702 and G703 forms.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project costs and ensure accuracy of financial information.

Prepare invoices and reconcile accounts for projects.

Process lien waivers and prepare certified payroll.

Prepare G702 and G703 forms for project payments.

Collaborate with construction project teams to ensure contract terms are met and financial goals are achieved.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate financial records and assist in reporting.

Provide support to the general contractor as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

2 years of experience as a Project Accountant in the Construction industry.

Proficient in lien waivers, G702 and G703 forms, and certified payroll.

Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Growth opportunity
