• Performs a variety of accounting-related reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data and information:
  • Analyzes a variety of financial information and data, including month end financial statement, expenditures, and key financial metrics.
  • Balance sheet accounts.
• Performs month-end close process:
  • Meets corporate cut-off and close schedule.
  • Prepares and enters journal entries for allocations, sales, purchases, adjustments, re-classes, depreciation, and other related information.
• Prepares a variety of routine reports and spreadsheets related to financial activities for management.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Fully participate and support all safety initiatives.
• Think safety and continually scan the work environment; make suggestions for corrections and improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of:
  • Liability and asset accounts.
  • Account reconciliation practices, procedures, and techniques.
  • General ledger accounting including Journal entry preparation.
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Basic computerized data processing principles.
• Skills:
  • Using a computer and related financial management software applications.
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Microsoft Dynamics and Tower a plus.
  • Effective and clear communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and stressful work environment.
• Experience:
  • Three to five years’ experience.
