In this role you can expect to

Key Accountabilities

• Social Media Management:
  • Assist in managing and scheduling social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and messages, and respond promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative social media campaigns.
• Content Creation:
  • Support in creating engaging and relevant content for various digital channels, including blog posts, social media posts, emails, and website content.
  • Assist in conducting research for content ideas, keywords, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing graphics and multimedia content.
• SEO enhancement:
  • Learn and assist in basic search engine optimization (SEO) tasks such as keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Assist in updating website content using content management systems (CMS) and implementing SEO best practices.
• Employee Advocacy:
  • Support the setup and management of employee advocacy programs, including backend setup, content uploading, and documentation creation.
  • Assist in educating and engaging employees in company advocacy initiatives.
• Google My Business and Local SEO:
  • Learn to manage and update Google My Business listings, including location updates, reviews management, and ensuring accurate business information.
  • Support in implementing basic local SEO strategies to improve online visibility for our business locations.

All About You

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Strong interest in digital marketing and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, social media marketing, and content creation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
