Total Fire Protection is Hiring a Billing Coordinator Near Woodbury, NY
Total Fire Protection is expanding rapidly, presenting an exciting and challenging opportunity to bring your fresh ideas, polished expertise, and collaborative attitude to support our growth. The Billing Coordinator will be directly responsible for the coordination of service documentation as it pertains to third party and direct service accounts to ensure the company charges its customers appropriately and collects payments in a timely manner. As the Billing Coordinator, you will report directly to the Finance and Accounting Manager and ensure timely and accurate invoicing of high volume, complex accounting tasks in order to help maximize the company’s revenues.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Proactively collaborate with finance and sales professionals to maintain accounts receivable.
- Accurately compile and process information such as prices, discounts, shipping rates etc.
- Aggressively ensure customers are billed correctly for services offered.
- Timely issue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mail.
- Professionally communicate with customers to answer questions.
- Consistently keep accurate records (customer information, received payments etc.)
- Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned.
- One to three years of proven experience in a customer facing or billing/accounting related role.
- Proficient in MS office and data entry;
- Fluent in mathematics and financial data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced ability to organize and coordinate tasks.
