We are currently accepting applications in our fitting department for a structural steel fabricator. As a structural steel fabricator, you will be fitting I beam, columns, and trusses.

Other responsibilities and job requirements include:

· Analyzing, reading and interpreting Blueprints

· Layout and secure the appropriate parts according to blueprints by tacking and/or welding

· Having knowledge in GMAW and Plasma cutting

· Proficient with a tape measure

· Able to work Monday through Friday consistently and willing to work overtime when required

· Able to accomplish daily and weekly deadlines

· Have a positive team driven attitude

· Able to lift 50lbs. minimum on a regular basis

· Stand for 8 hours daily

· Able to pass a 30-45 minute in shop fit-up test

· Able to pass a drug screen

Preferences:

· 1 or more years of experience in a similar industry

· GMAW(Spray) unlimited certified

· High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $22-$25 an hour

The hourly wage for this position depends on the skill level of the applicant.
